Part 3 · Discussion
Let's discuss some bigger questions
These are abstract questions, like the discussion that follows your Part 2 topic. There's no right answer — just reason it through, and don't memorize. This session: just nail your answer + why — we add more once you nail it. New to this? Build an answer with a coach first →
The shape of a strong answer
- Your answer: Say what you think — in one clear sentence.
- Why: Give your main reason.
- Example: Back it up — something from your life or that you've seen.
- The other side: Add what someone who disagrees would say, or what might change ('but…' / 'that said…'). This is what pushes your score up.
One natural way — say it your way, don't memorize
Q: Is it better to have a few close friends, or many?
“I’d say a few close friends is better. Mainly because that kind of trust takes years to build. In my experience, the two friends I’ve kept since school are the ones I actually call when something goes wrong. That said, others might say a wide circle matters more — for new chances and fresh perspectives.”
Your answer → why → example → the other side — the other side is what lifts you past 6.5.
